The engineers at Porsche have developed the new Porsche 911 Turbo S in response to customer demand for greater power, performance and driving dynamics. Building on the success and reputation of the revered Porsche 911 Turbo, at the heart of this most exclusive high-performance athlete is a six-cylinder 'boxer' engine boosted by two turbochargers with variable turbine geometry.
An increase in horsepower over the Porsche 911 Turbo of 30 hp boosts peak output to 530 hp (390 kW) and maximum torque is a most impressive 700 Newton-metres (516 lb-ft). Despite its significant increase in power and dynamic performance, the new Porsche 911 Turbo S returns 24.8 mpg Combined (11.4 l/ 100 km) and as such offers identical fuel consumption to the regular Porsche 911 Turbo, making it by far the most efficient sports car in its performance class.
The Porsche 911 Turbo S offers as standard the high technology features that are otherwise available as options on the 911 Turbo. Thus, the Porsche 911 Turbo S comes exclusively with the seven-speed Porsche Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (PDK) double-clutch gearbox - with steering wheel-mounted paddle shift levers - which conveys drive power to Porsche Traction Management (PTM) all-wheel drive. Driving enjoyment and safety is optimised to an even higher standard courtesy of the Dynamic Engine Mounts, and Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) including a mechanical limited slip rear differential.
In conjunction with the Launch Control function of the Sport Chrono Package Turbo that is also fitted as standard, the Porsche 911 Turbo S accelerates from a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 3.3 seconds and reaches 124 mph (200 km/h) in 10.8 seconds. Top speed is 196 mph (315 km/h). Lightweight and fade-resistant Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) provide the same outstanding performance in terms of stopping power.
Further underlining the outstanding class and calibre of this first Porsche 911 Turbo S in five years, the supreme level of standard equipment also includes Dynamic Cornering Lights, 19-inch RS Spyder design wheels with centre lock nut, adaptive sports seats, cruise control, a CD/DVD changer and exclusive two-tone leather upholstery in Black/Creme or Black/Titanium Blue.
The new Porsche 911 Turbo S goes on sale from May 2010 priced from £123,263 in Coupe bodystyle and from £130,791 as a Cabriolet. Fitted to every Turbo S is a Porsche Vehicle Tracking System (VTS), a sophisticated vehicle security package approved to Thatcham Category 5 standard. Further technical and specification details will be confirmed nearer the on-sale date.

Porsche 911 Carrera S
Porsche is proud to present the new Porsche 911 Carrera, a completely new generation of the iconic coupe that has been acclaimed as one of the world's benchmark sports cars since its launch in 1963.
Tradition meets modernity
True to the 911 tradition, the distinctive Porsche design language exudes power and elegance. The unmistakable silhouette still catches the eye while incorporating new, exciting contours and precisely designed details; a 100mm longer wheelbase for improved stability and greater interior space; front and rear overhangs are shorter, maintaining the compact footprint that has been a longstanding 911 attribute; the sporting stance is emphasised by the lower roof line and a wider front track increases on-road presence further still while raising the renowned chassis dynamics.
The rear-mounted, flat six cylinder engine is an equally symbolic component of the 911 identity; and behind the rear axle of the new car lies an uprated range of powerful, efficient and evocative 'boxer' engines. The Porsche 911 Carrera is powered by a new 3.4-litre engine developing 350 hp, and the Carrera S features a 400 hp version of the familiar 3.8-litre. These new engines offer performance improvements for both models. The 3.4-litre Carrera with PDK accelerates from 0-62mph in 4.6 sec, 0.1 sec quicker than the prior model. Pressing the Sport Plus button on the optional Sport Chrono Pack cuts that to 4.4 sec. Principle among the innovative steps forwards is the all-new, lightweight body, featuring intelligent aluminium-steel composite construction. It is responsible for a significant proportion of the vehicle weight reduction of up to 45 kg. The body structure also delivers significantly greater rigidity, and aerodynamic optimisation - including a wider, variably extending rear spoiler - has reduced the lift generated by the new 911 Carrera while retaining an impressive overall drag factor.
Innovative chassis technology
That the new 911 offers better acceleration in a straight line goes without saying, but it also offers top performance at an unprecedented level across the entire dynamic repertoire. In addition to the longer wheelbase, the greater agility, precision and driving stability are based, among other things, on the wider front track, a new rear axle and new electro-mechanical power steering.
Depending on the model, there are other standard or optional active control systems available as well that further enhance the driving dynamics. That is especially true for the Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC) active roll stabilisation system, available for the first time on the Porsche 911 Carrera S. The system reduces body roll when cornering, with the result that the tyres are always in the optimal position relative to the road surface and thus able to transmit higher lateral forces. Consequently, maximum cornering speeds are increased, and even faster lap times on racing circuits are possible.
Exterior design
The familiar athletic appearance of the 911 is given further dynamism with a 100mm longer wheelbase, reduced height, and up to 20-inch diameter alloy wheels. At the same time, the typically compact exterior dimensions have been retained. Seen from the front, the eye is drawn to the trademark wide-arched wings, emphasising the wider front track and making the new 911 Carrera models adopt a particularly sporting stance on the road. The redesigned exterior mirrors are now mounted on the upper edge of the door and not as before on the mirror triangle. Not only is this aerodynamically advantageous, it also emphasises the new design line and visual impression of width.
Interior design
To complement the modern exterior, the Porsche designers created an interior style which takes its cue from that of the Porsche Carrera GT. The driver is now even more closely integrated with the cockpit thanks to the centre console rising up to the front with the high-mounted shift lever - or PDK gear selector - located close to the steering wheel in typical motorsport fashion. Classic Porsche style elements are also to be found inside, just as they are on the outside. For example, the instrument cluster with five round instruments, with the central dial naturally the rev counter. On the right is a new, high resolution multi-function screen, just one of the comfort features added to meet evolving customer demands.
Porsche Intelligent Performance
Setting the standard in its class, as it has for generations, the new Porsche 911 Carrera and Carrera S raise the performance and efficiency standard to new levels. Fuel consumption and emissions of all versions are up to 16 per cent lower compared with its predecessors. Among other things, this is achieved by systems and functions such as auto start/stop, thermal management, electrical system recuperation, the world's first seven-speed manual transmission and - in conjunction with the Porsche-Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (PDK) - a 'coasting' function that decouples the engine for enhanced fuel efficiency when the throttle is closed.
The new electro-mechanical power steering system offers not only the typical precision and feedback expected of a Porsche, but also helps to increase efficiency and reduce fuel consumption. For example, the Porsche 911 Carrera with the new 350 hp (257 kW) 3.4-litre direct injection engine and optional PDK returns 34.4mpg Combined based on the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC) - 6mpg less than its predecessor. Also, at 194 g/km CO2, it is the first Porsche sports car to sit below 200 g/km CO2. In the case of the Carrera S, with its 400 hp 3.8-litre direct injection engine, economy when paired with the optional PDK is increased by 14 per cent, or 5 mpg, to 32.4mpg Combined despite 15 hp more power. That equates to CO2 emissions of 205 g/km.
Evidently, it has therefore been possible in the new 911 Carrera to extend yet further the span of apparently contradictory attributes such as performance and efficiency, sportiness and everyday usability that has always typified the Porsche 911. It could be said that the new 911 Carrera is thus more of a 911 than ever.
In the UK from December 2011
The new Porsche 911 Carrera celebrates its world premiere at the 2011 IAA Frankfurt Motor Show and the new 911 models will be in UK Porsche Centres from December 17 2011.
The Porsche 911 Carrera is priced from £71,449 and the Porsche 911 Carrera S is priced from £81,242. Standard equipment on all models is leather interior, sports seats, automatic climate control, Bi-Xenon headlights, 7-inch colour touch-screen Porsche Communication Management with satellite navigation, a universal audio interface offering MP3 connectivity, Porsche Stability Management (PSM) and a three year warranty.
The Carrera S adds 20-inch alloy wheels, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) with rear limited slip differential, in addition to the power advantage of the larger 3.8-litre engine.
Fitted to every 911 is a Porsche Vehicle Tracking System (VTS), a sophisticated vehicle security package approved to Thatcham Category 5 standard, and customers will also be able to explore the potential of their new car by participating in a complimentary course at the Porsche Experience Centre, Silverstone.

Porsche Cayman S Black Edition
The new Porsche Cayman S Black Edition combines performance and style, with a 3.4-litre flat-six engine tuned to deliver 330 hp, distinctive 19" alloy wheels finished in black and a luxurious interior. Production is limited to 500 examples worldwide, and UK sales begin in September 2011.
The extra power is produced at 7,400 rpm (an additional 200 rpm vs the standard car), while the maximum torque remains unchanged at 370Nm at 4,750 rpm. This extra horsepower feeds directly through into the performance of the all-black mid-engined two-seater. Acceleration from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) is improved by a tenth of a second to 5.1 seconds with the six-speed manual transmission, and to 5.0 seconds with the optional Porsche Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (PDK) respectively. With the Launch Control activated on the PDK Sport Chrono package option, acceleration improves further to 4.8 seconds.
The top speed of the Porsche Cayman S Black Edition is just over one mph faster than that of the Cayman S - 173 mph (279 km/h) with the manual transmission and 172 mph (277 km/h) with PDK. In line with the Porsche Intelligent Performance principles, fuel consumption of the Porsche Cayman S Black Edition remains identical to that of the standard car, despite the increase in horsepower. The Porsche Cayman S Black Edition with manual transmission returns 29.7mpg Combined, and 30.1mpg Combined with PDK. Likewise, CO2 remains 223g/km for the manual and 221g/km for the PDK.

Mazda Minagi Concept
The Mazda Minagi concept car embodies Mazda's new SkyActiv technologies and new KODO design language, signaling the way for the next generation of Mazda cars to come.
The Mazda Minagi concept makes its world premiere at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show as the expression of Mazda's new SkyActiv technologies and new KODO design language. It is the first model which showcases characteristics likely to be seen in the next generation of Mazda cars.
For this reason, Mazda has fully incorporated its SkyActiv technologies into every aspect of driving performance, including the powertrain, chassis, and even body design. As the second concept vehicle to incorporate Mazda's new 'KODO - Soul of Motion' design language, Minagi challenges conventions with emotional design and exhilarating performance.
While Shinari was a pure design concept to express the full potential of KODO design, Mazda Minagi gives a glimpse of the next generation of products to come. As the second concept car to adopt Mazda's KODO design theme, Minagi's design elements combine the expression of energy pulsing throughout the vehicle with the keen agility to move about freely and nimbly. With its upright, compact packaging, Mazda Minagi offers a vision of KODO design that is different to Shinari, yet it shares the same sinuous, powerful stance.
"I wanted to convey something different from the Mazda Shinari. I felt a compact crossover SUV was the perfect vehicle to express agility and focused movement; the flexibility of four limbs moving in unison, and an upright posture."

New KIA Rio has its own interpretation of Kia’s signature grille, integrated with the headlamps to give a new twist on the Kia family look. In profile, the body to glass ratio and its strong wedge form give new Rio a dynamic sporty stance.
The new KIA Rio features a wheelbase extended by 70 mm (to 2,570 mm) and promises greater passenger space and comfort, together with increased cargo capacity to 292 litres (hatchback) and 390 litres (sedan). Exterior dimensions changes include: +55 mm (overall length), -15 mm (height) and +25 mm (overall width) to enhance the feeling of sportiness.
No picture available for interior now, but KIA says it will deliver a high level of quality previously associated with larger models – together with a wide selection of trim options.

Mercedes C63 AMG DTM Safety Car
The new Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG is being used as the Safety Car for the 2011 DTM season. Following the DTM presentation in Wiesbaden on 10 April 2011, the new Safety Car makes its debut on 1 May 2011 at the opening race of the German Touring Car Masters season at the Hockenheimring in Baden-Württemberg. The V8 Sports Saloon only had to be modified slightly for its demanding DTM task. Responsibility for development and production of the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Safety Car was entrusted to the specialists in the AMG Overall Vehicle Development department and the AMG Performance Studio.
Decisions regarding the deployment of the Safety Car are taken by the Deutsche Motorsportbund (DMSB) - German motor racing's governing body - which assumes responsibility for safety implementation and
compliance as well as performing official sports functions in accordance with the DTM regulations. Piloted by racing driver Jürgen Kastenholz (43), the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Safety Car has the job of ensuring maximum safety for the racing drivers and spectators in the event of dangerous situations such as extreme weather conditions, accidents or other incidents. When radioed by Race Control, the Safety Car positions itself at the head of the DTM field and leads the cars around the circuit until normal racing can be resumed.
The new Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG being used for the 2011 DTM season scales new heights in terms of design and technology: the AMG 6.3-litre V8 engine has an exceptionally high output of 358 kW (487 hp) and a peak torque of 600 Nm. The increase in output versus the standard 336 kW (457 hp) engine is due to the AMG Performance Package, which is optionally available for any C63 AMG model and enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds (Estate 4.4 seconds). For the AMG Performance Package the engine specialists have placed their trust in a technology transfer from the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG: the forged pistons, connecting rods and lightweight crankshaft have been adopted from the gull-wing model. The lower inertia of the three-kilogram lighter components allows the naturally aspirated eight-cylinder engine to rev freely and respond even more promptly. Distinguishing features of the Performance Package include the variable intake manifold painted in titanium grey and the AMG high-performance braking system with compound brake discs at the front axle.
New equipment includes the innovative AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-speed sports transmission, which incorporates a wet start-up clutch and four transmission modes as well as double-declutching and RACE START functions for optimum driving dynamics. Distinguishing features of the current model include the aluminium bonnet with modified powerdomes, the new radiator grille, the new headlamps, the new AMG rear apron with a distinctive black diffuser insert and active rear-axle cooling. To optimise radiator inflow, the AMG front apron on the DTM Safety Car features enlarged openings and side air outlets, while the AMG carbon-fibre spoiler lip on the boot lid reduces lift at high track speeds. In keeping with this design, the DTM Safety Car also sports AMG carbon-fibre exterior mirrors.
Outstanding grip thanks to differential lock and 3-stage ESP®
The adjustable coil-over suspension together with the differential lock and the 3-stage ESP® ensures a high level of agility and outstanding grip on the race track. The Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG DTM Safety Car is shod with multi-spoke AMG light-alloy wheels painted in matt black with a high-sheen rim flange, 235/35 R 19 front tyres and 255/30 R 19 rear tyres.
The AMG high-performance braking system has been optimised for the race track: compound brake discs with six-piston brake callipers at the front axle and steel brake discs with four-piston brake callipers at the rear axle; all of the discs are internally ventilated and perforated. Meanwhile, the AMG sports exhaust system with special rear silencers produces an unmistakable AMG V8 sound.

Porsche has unveiled the all-wheel-drive 2009 911 Carrera 4 and Carrera 4S in coupe and cabriolet guises after the launch of its rear-wheel-drive sibling earlier this month.
Featuring the same 3.6- and 3.8-litre engines, the Carrera 4/4S offers up to 8.5 per cent more power, up to 12.9 per cent more fuel economy, and 15.4 per cent lower CO2 emissions than its predecessor. For example, a Carrera 4 Coupé with the PDK dual-clutch transmission consumes a mere 10.1 litres of fuel per 100 kilometres - outstanding figures for a performance car.

Porsche Cayenne

Frankly speaking, it is the Cayenne that compels me to use the word vehicle in conjunction with Porsche. Before the introduction of the Cayenne, Porsche only used to manufacture cars. Thus, this model signifies a significant shift in the designing paradigm of Porsche. The Cayenne has the first V8 engine built by Porsche since the discontinuation of the 928 in 1995.
The model range
The Cayenne range, although relatively new, can be divided into two stages of development. The range manufactured from 2002 to 2006 is called the 1st generation Cayenne while the vehicles since have been known as the 2nd generation. The differences between the two are listed below.

Porsche 911 Turbo Historical Overview From 1974 to Now

The production of the 911 Turbo began in 1974. The car was also called the Porsche 930 in the USA; the number 930 is in reference to the car's internal type number. In Europe, it was called the Porsche Turbo 911. One of the most distinctive features of the 911 Turbo is its wide wheel arches, so done to house the wide tires. The car also has a unique rear spoiler; it was called the whale tail on the early models and the tea tray on the latter cars.
The Porsche 930 developed a reputation for absolute acceleration, and difficult handling and drag. The first models came with a 3 liter engine spitting out 256 BHP. In the late 1976, a racing version of the Porsche 911 Turbo was introduced, called the Porsche 934. It became a favorite of many competitors in Le Mans and other races due to its power and handling.
The 1989 911 Turbo (930) was the only model to feature a 5 speed gearbox.
Porsche 964 Turbo (1990 - 1993)
In 1990 Porsche launched a Turbo version of the 964 series. For the 1991 and 1992 model years it used a 3.3 liter engine, similar to the one used on the Porsche 930, the engine provided 320 PS. Porsche then introduced the Carrera 2 and 4 in 1993, with a 3.6 liter engine and a 360 PS to the rear wheels.
Today the 964 Turbo is rear commodity; it was eventually superseded by the Porsche 993 Turbo (1995 – 1998).
Porsche 993 Turbo (1995–1998)
In 1995 Porsche launched a Turbo version of the Porsche 993. It was revolutionary in more ways than one; the 993 Turbo was the first standard Porsche to use twin exhaust turbochargers and the first 911 Turbo to have permanent all wheel drive. [Side Note: If you wanted to remove the AWD, you would have to refer to the more powerful and race homologated GT2 or another option is to remove the drive shaft leading to the front differential].
It was 1997 and Porsche decided to introduce a limited run of 200 units of the Porsche 993 911 Turbo S; the Turbo S delivered an even higher performance. The new car had a few additions as well, among these are an additional 24 PS (17.7 kW), this was over the regular Turbo 400 PS (294kW) and modifications to the car's body.
The Porsche 993 Turbo still command a premium price, due mainly to its reliability, raw power, and the fact that it is the last air cooled 911 Turbo cars.

In the year 2000, Porsche introduced the 966 Turbo, which is as the name suggests a turbo version of the Porsche 966. It was equipped with standard four wheel drive and a 3.6 liter engine, which was derived from the 911 GT1 engine. It also came with twin turbocharged and inter-cooled producing a whopping 415 BHP (309 kW), which meant the car could go from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.9 seconds. In 2002 the 996 Turbo received an upgrade known as X50 or Turbo S, this increased the car power to 444 hp (336 kW). The 996 Turbo also had air vents in the front and rear bumpers.

Looking at buying a used Porsche? A used Porsche can be a fantastic purchase and give you years of pleasure but if you buy a complete turkey it can lead to problem after problem. Buying a used car rather than a new one can save you a serious amount of money and if you are careful and know what to look for, the difference in new and used can be nominal. Here are a few handy tips if you are considering splashing out on a used Porsche.
Don't get hung up on used Porsche original bodywork. A lot of people will consider a vehicle having all original bodywork to be a highlight however the older the car gets the more likely it is to have required new parts either due to simple wear and tear or minor scrapes. As long as the work has been carried out to high standards then there should be no problem in this area, it doesn't mean that the car hasn't been well looked after and cared for. If however it has had major surgery then it may have been involved in a serious collision and this can cause underlying problems to axles and other major areas so it may be best to avoid.
Don't be dissuaded by colours that are not popular today. If you are buying a 20 year old used Porsche then its colour may have been the height of fashion in 1980 but may not be popular today. If you are open minded about colour then you are more likely to find a good car as it widens your options. At the end of the day, it's a Porsche, if it's in good condition – it's going to look great!

Porsche used cars like there 911 model is the one vehicle I think everyone thinks of when dreaming of the Porsche Brand. With so many other models born from the 911 brand, this article will take a look at these other cars (which are less famous than there older brother the Porsche 911) but still very sleek and really fast. When researching older Porsche 911’s from 2005, the turbo had a 480-horsepower twin turbo engine and this vehicle handle’s excellent in high speed performance situations.
Porsche 911 used cars:
Porsche decided that wanted to get a little flashier with its 911 brand so they introduced the 911 GT3. You will notice that most of these 911 GT3’s have loud paint jobs, meaning you see a lot of them in orange, bright yellows and lime green to mention a few. These also came in all-wheel drive and the glass roof was standard in the 911 GT3. The Porsche Motor Company realized that the GT3 wasn’t fast enough, so the following year they unveiled the GT2 and this now had a 530 horsepower, twin turbo engine. These Porsche 911 GT2’s also offered loud paint jobs.
Both the GT3 and the GT2 come with a six speed manual transmission, there is also an option to have the famous Tiptronic S which are paddle shifters you see in a Formula One race car.
I could only find one stat for the fuel economy of the Porsche 911 GT2. The GT2 has an 18.8-litre, per 100kms for city driving and 8.9-litre, per 100kms for highway driving. Not exactly your favourite green car to drive around in the city, but imagine most 911 GT2 owners couldn’t care less.
Let’s look at some pros and cons of the different 911 models:
1- It has been mentioned that are problems with the pistons.
2- There is an issue with anti flood system.
3- There are problems with the seals for the engine oil.
4- There have been complaints with the transmission not working properly when you change gears.
I could not find any reports on safety crash tests done on either the GT2 or GT3. The Porsche 911 family are very expensive cars even if you buy second hand; they seem to hold their value for a long time. They are also an expensive car to maintain so if you do decide to buy one used, don’t be shocked when the mechanic gives you the bill.

2012 Porsche Cayman S Black Edition
Porsche has unveiled the Cayman S Black Edition, a new model that adds more power and equipment to the Porsche Cayman S. Will be on sale in the UK from September 2011, the Cayman S Black Edition will feature performance and style combination: a flat-six tuned engine, distinctive 19″ alloy wheels and a luxurious interior.
Porsche Cayman S Black Edition is powered by 330 hp 3.4-liter flat six engine which delivers 10 hp
more than standard Cayman S. The extra power is produced at 7,400 rpm (an additional 200 rpm vs the standard car), while the maximum torque remains unchanged at 370Nm at 4,750 rpm. The top speed is just over one mph faster than that of the Cayman S – 173 mph with the manual transmission and 172 mph with PDK. Acceleration from 0-62 mph is improved by a tenth of a second to 5.1 seconds with the six-speed manual transmission, and to 5.0 seconds with the optional Porsche Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (PDK) respectively. With the Launch Control activated on the PDK Sport Chrono package option, acceleration improves further to 4.8 seconds.
The dynamic performance of the Cayman S Black Edition is supported by the lightweight Boxster Spyder wheels finished in black which, with a diameter of 19 inches, are one inch bigger than the standard Cayman S wheels and also half an inch wider than the optional 19 inch wheels offered on the Cayman S. The tire sizes fitted are 235/35 ZR 19s on the front axle and 265/35 ZR 19s on the rear axle.
The Cayman S Black Edition features consistent interior color scheme throughout: the dashboard trim is black as are the gear lever/selector trim and the dials in the instrument cluster. The door entry guards feature “Black Edition” lettering and are made of stainless steel; the glove compartment lid bears a badge highlighting the limited edition status.
The Cayman S Black Edition price will start from £50,420 when it goes on sale in the UK from September 2011, productions will be limited to only 500 units worldwide.

The newest member of the mid-engine family features the highly efficient 3.4-liter six-cylinder Direct Fuel Injection (DFI) boxer engine found in the Cayman S, but produces 10 more horsepower. With a six-speed manual transmission, the Cayman R sprints from a standstill to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds, two-tenths of a second faster than the Cayman S. With the optional seven-speed dual-clutch PDK (Doppelkupplungsgetriebe) transmission and the Sport Chrono package, the exercise is reduced to 4.4 seconds. Top track speed with the manual transmission is up by 3 to 175 mph (282 km / h), 174 mph (280 km / h) with the PDK.
The main objective in the concept and execution of the Cayman R was to improve the already energetic two-seater through a systematic reduction in weight, thereby increasing performance, driving dynamics and agility. With a DIN unladen weight of 2849 lbs. (1295 kg), Porsche engineers were able to achieve a power-to-weight ratio of 8.58 lbs. per hp (3.9 kilograms per hp) and with 8.8 lbs per hp (4 kilograms per hp) with the PDK.

The greatest savings comes from the use of lightweight components and the omission of certain standard equipment not directly associated with driving performance. In addition to the removal of the A/C and stereo, the driver-focused Cayman R utilizes a sports suspension system that lowers the Cayman R by 20 mm, helping lower center of gravity. Optional on the Cayman S, the Cayman R comes with a standard limited slip differential, front and rear spoilers from the Cayman Aerokit and special lightweight 19” wheels also found on the Boxster Spyder.
