DETROIT - Chevrolet announced the 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe, the new generation of best-selling full-size SUV industry. The new redesigned Tahoe and offers a clearer, more precise driving feel, more power with better fuel economy leader in its segment, increased interior refinement and improved quietness.
The new Tahoe takes over the top of the segment sales, quality and comfort - Tahoe has been the best selling full-size SUV since 2001. The previous model (like their brothers and sisters, Suburban) ranked first in JD Power and Associates Initial Quality Study five years, above all import and luxury models. Engineers built on Tahoe established credentials with a "no compromises" mantra that realized improvements in many areas of performance, quality and comfort.

Superior race, handling and silence
In 2007 Tahoe is built on GM's new full-size SUV platform that incorporates features such as a new fully boxed frame, front suspension coil-over-shock, rack and pinion steering and an all-new premium interior that improve the comfort of the car, the quality and capacity. Wider front and rear tracks, enhance handling and low center of gravity for a road feel more secure.
Great attention to detail paid by Tahoe technicians to ensure quiet driving experience. We start with a new stiffer chassis, reducing vibration and the cabin. The strength and accuracy of full-box frame also enable more precise mounting and tuning of chassis and suspension components, which also helps reduce vibration. Even a tire big wheel standard 20 inch by 17 inch available are designed to reduce noise.
Noise reduction of components and materials are used in the body structure, including equipment pavilion door seals and front of the dashboard area. Technology available, including rear ultrasonic parking assist and a rearview camera system, to improve security in all the corners, helping - in addition to many accidents and rollover sensors - to give the Tahoe 360 degrees of protection. GPS satellite network and wireless technology, OnStar features core safety services and OnStar Hands-free calling (OHC), which allows drivers to make and receive hands-free, voice-activated calls from a powerful 3-watt digital / Analog and external antenna for greater reception. OHC requires an additional OnStar service contract and prepaid calling minutes, and are not available in Alaska and in other markets. Calls can be made in the United States and Canada.
The OnStar service available on the Tahoe includes the General Motors Advanced Automatic Crash Notification (AACN) immune system, making crash data to emergency services to send potentially suitable for life-saving personnel and equipment to the scene of accident faster. If the vehicle has an accident that causes an airbag, the OnStar system automatically notifies an OnStar advisor who will check the occupants or summon emergency help if necessary. 2007 Tahoe is built at Arlington Assembly, in Arlington, Texas, and is available in the first quarter of 2006.
Despite the fact that the police car launch has sparked some interest for a civilian version as well, the Detroit maker has not such plans on the table – at least not for now. 
According to the Detroit-based automaker, the Malibu is the longest-running nameplate in the midsize segment, with Chevrolet having first introduced it in 1964.
The pure-electric version of its Spark city car will be produced in limited numbers for select global and US markets, including California, starting from 2013.
