Bentley GTZ Zagato Review

78 At the Geneva Motor Show in 2008, Zagaton Atelier takes great pleasure in introducing Bentley GTZ, the latest in a long collaboration with the best British car manufacturers over the Milanese Atelier's 89 year history.

In the wake of last performance in 2006 575GTZ Ferrari and Maserati GS Zagaton Villa D'Este in 2007, the Bentley GTZ is a neo-classical style of the British GT Zagaton interpretation.

The project was conceived during a conversation between Dr. Ing Franz Josef Paefgen CEO of Bentley Motors Limited and Dr. Andrea Zagaton President Zagaton the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in 2006. In "Homage to Zagaton" presentation, Zagaton indicated range of 50 "models in the 60's, near the newly introduced sports cars over the past 3 years. Dr. Paefgen struck by the beauty of these cars and recalled the historical significance of art Bodywork (body shops), which was well maintained and carried forward by Zagaton.

From the stylistic features of the last neo-classic cut, which became milestones of Zagato design in the new millennium, the challenge was to apply the same design language to a completely different part of the vehicle: Bentley Continental GT Speed.

Even with many technical restrictions and carry-over parts in order to maintain the basic functions of this extremely sophisticated vehicle, Zagato design team managed to give a distinctive and attractive to the Zagato coupe.

The lines marked wings, double-bubble roof, round tail with all new rear lights are harmoniously integrated into the body of an awesome feeling by adding a more aggressive and stronger without losing the absolute solidity which is part of the charm of the original court . At the same time, the hand-painted stripe coordinated with the interior color adds elegance and exclusivity extrovert body lines helps the look of this car appropriate to be special limited-production model born between two great cultures of the Auto: Bentley and Zagato.
